This International Women’s Day, we are proud to spotlight one of our After-sales technician leaders, May Wang, whose journey reflects EP’s accelerated global expansion and the spirit of growing together with global partners.

From Regional Support to Global Leadership

Joining EP in 2020 to support Southeast Asia, her role evolved rapidly. In 2022, when we launched our European AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) projects, May stepped up to take full ownership of after-sales support – from on-site implementation to approving every software update before deployment. she proved that technical expertise is the universal language of leadership. Today, May leads a team of specialists, coordinating support across Asia, Latin America and Australia, which proves that leadership is defined by capability, not gender.

Building Trust Across Borders

Working across continents has taught May that while technology speaks a universal language, trust is built through understanding. In Europe, she earns professional respect through deep technical debates. In the Middle East, she establishes credibility through essential face-to-face interactions.

She recalls a powerful moment in Saudi Arabia: “When a customer realized that through our continuously optimized EP Care system and Bluetooth APP, they could search technical files, customize parameters and solve complex issues independently, you could feel their confidence shift. We didn’t just fix a truck; we empowered a team to solve future challenges themselves.”

The AI Revolution in Support

Innovation drives our growth and May played a critical role in building and improving the AI platform integrated in EP Care. Today, she leverages the AI Technician in the EP Care App to bridge the gaps of time and language. With support for 19 languages, customers in Latin America no longer wait overnight for answers. By using AI to handle routine inquiries, her team can focus on what matters most: complex problem-solving and continuous system improvement.

Advice for the Next Generation

As a woman in a technical field, May’s message to those considering similar paths is practical and encouraging: “Don’t hesitate to get hands-on experience. Traveling to customer sites isn’t a burden—it’s where you see real challenges and grow the fastest. Growth comes from curiosity and a willingness to learn, not from sitting behind a desk.”
